Golden Compass

I went to see Stardust today on opening day. I generally love Gaiman and this is certainly one of his works that is best suited for the big screen and general audiences. I loved it. It is quite different than the book, so it was interesting to look at my watch and think "what are they going to do with the next 45 minutes?"

I'm pretty excited to see Beowolf now, and it wasn't really on my radar before.


But even more than that... I'm really starting to itch for the Golden Compass. I loved the books and would've named my daughter Lyra if I could've pulled it off. So I really had a good time creating my daemon below. We'll see if other people fill it out and my daemon changes. :)
